May 16, 2012 – Fifteen students and two teachers reported as having a mysterious rash at a Hollywood, Florida school in Broward county. Room 944, a reading room, is reported as possibly being contaminated with hazardous material that caused this outbreak. It is reported that this room was created with the sole purpose of being a reading and has not been a chemistry lab or used for any other purpose in the past.
Students and teachers were decontaminated and taken to the hospital.
